Hi! My name is Marley. I currently teach in Regina at St. Nicholas and I am in my seventh year teaching (which scares me). I am currently teaching Grade One and I just love this grade level. Some might say I am a bit sheltered but I think it’s the best grade, so many fun topics and the kids learn A LOT.
One of my areas of interest in teaching is education in the outdoors. And I don’t mean learning camping and survival skills, more seeing what kids learn from nature and how the outdoor supports both emotional and academic growth. There are so many benefits children (and adults) gain from time spent in the out of doors. One of my goals is to give them exposure to these positive effects.
